Although this course is called Aerial Lift Online Training it does include information on a wider variety of lifting devices including Self Propelled Elevating Work Platforms (Scissor Lift) and Self Propelled Boom Supported Elevated Work Platforms (Genie Boom).
Who needs this training?
- Anyone required to operate an aerial lifting device.
- Supervisors of workers required to operate an aerial lifting device.

Training objectives include familiarizing attendees withaerial lifting device operation, provides an understanding of their obligations, the regulations that apply and the safe operation of these devices.
Regulations pertaining to aerial lifting devices vary from one province to the next and then again in federally regulated workplaces. Aerial Lifts are often operated near other workers or in fact workers to be actually lifted by them. In this case those workers should receive information about the operating characteristics and hazards associated with aerial lifts. Our online Aerial Lift Training Program will focus on the safe operation of self propelled elevated work platforms and self propelled boom supported elevated work platforms. Upon successful completion, a 2 year Aerial Lift certificate will be issued automatically and must be signed in the space provided by a competent individual verifying that a hands-on practical evaluation has been completed within your facility.
